Product Description

Think of the Lee Stafford Coco Loco with Agave Heat Protection Mist as armour for your hair, defending from the damaging effects of hot styling tools up to 220°C / 428°F.

At Lee Stafford, we're famous for our heat protection products – our award-winning Heat Protection Shine Mist is still one of our best sellers nearly 20 years post launch! So when we launched our Coco Loco collection, we knew we needed to bring you a nourishing heat protection mist as part of the line-up.

Just like our original Lee Stafford Heat Protection Mist, this lightweight thermal shield helps to protect your hair from the damaging effects of styling appliances. We've also boosted it with Coconut Oil to enhance moisture in parched strands. It's blended with Agave Essence and formulated with no drying alcohols, to condition, nourish, smooth, and help detangle – leaving you with shinier, healthier hair.

Mist this Lee Stafford Heat Protection Mist from root to tip after washing with the Lee Stafford Coco Loco Shine Shampoo and Coco Loco Conditioner for moisture you can truly feel. It's lightweight enough not to drag hair down, whether you spritz pre-blow-dry or pre-tonging.

Q & A

It's a huge 'YES' from us. Coconut Oil is hydrating and nourishing; great for restoring lost moisture in hair that needs some extra TLC. But, more than that, it's rich in Lauric Acid, a fatty acid that helps to protect your hair from breakage, and tame frizz and flyaways. It's also quickly and easily absorbed by even the driest of strands, resulting in fast effects, no matter how you use it.
You can apply Coconut Oil to your hair as often as you like – the more you use it, the more manageable your hair will be. To make it easy for you, the Coco Loco collection features Coconut Oil in quick-to-use formulas that deliver the hydration burst your hair craves. This conditioner is infused with the good stuff, so everyday washing becomes nourishing. You'll also find it in our Coco Loco shampoo, mask, dry shampoo, and more.
Alongside Coconut Oil, a hit of Agave can be found in every Coco Loco essential, including this nourishing blow-dry cream. Agave has special hair-enhancing powers, as it helps to moisturise, prevent breakage, and strengthen your hair, so it's more resistant to split ends and other signs of damage. Now you can see why we just had to add it in.
It depends on what you want from your heat protection. If it's moisture you're looking for, this Lee Stafford Coco Loco with Agave Heat Protection Mist is your styling essential. Not only does it safeguard your strands while you blow-dry, straighten, and curl your hair, but it also coats strands in moisturising Coconut Oil for root to tip replenishment. Hair will feel so soft after styling, you won't want to stop stroking it.
Some believe that Coconut Oil has natural heat protecting properties. However, because we want to keep your hair extra safe, we've powered this heat protectant spray with bumped-up shielding powers. It protects your hair from the damaging effects of hot styling tools up to 220°C / 428°F, so you can perfect your look with confidence. Moisturising and heat protection? We've got you.
You can and you should. Damage from hot tools can happen to damp or dry hair, so it's important you mist this heat protection spray before every styling session. Spray it from root to tip before you blow-dry your hair, then apply it again when hair is dry, so it's ready for the heat of your straighteners or curling wand.

    Not as good as expected

The heat protection mist probably did protect while I used the hair drier, who knows? I’ve bought better heat protection products on high street, cheaper, leaving my hair smooth and shiny.

My hair wasn’t soft and smooth when I used this product.

My hair feel sticky, dry and dirty.

I bought it for someone else...

I have no opinion that would be worthy her, BUT, my wife absolutely loves it. As a hairdresser for 20+ years she said she wished she had it at the beginning. Now she is mobile its a lifesaver (apparently).
